Our principles

• Use AI where it provides a clear user benefit rather than adding it for appearance alone.
• Make it clear when a feature is AI-assisted where that context matters to the user.
• Keep appropriate human review and user control for consequential content and decisions.
• Avoid presenting generated output as guaranteed to be correct, complete or suitable for every purpose.
• Apply privacy, security and access-control expectations to AI-enabled workflows as we do to other product features.

AI-generated content

AI output can contain errors or unexpected results. Users should review generated content before relying on, publishing or using it in learning, assessment, business or operational contexts. Product interfaces may provide additional guidance relevant to a specific AI feature.

Data and AI services

Where a product uses an external AI provider, the product-specific notice or documentation should identify the relevant processing arrangement before customer data is submitted to that service. This corporate statement does not invent provider commitments that have not been configured or agreed.
